What's It All About?
"Minis at the Mill" continues to be the premier gathering of Mini
enthusiasts in this state, it provides a forum where like-minded
individuals can exchange parts, ideas and knowledge about one of
the worlds most popular vehicles, while at the same time admiring
examples of the marque ranging from full blown race cars, to daily
driven transport to the meticulously restored.
Throughout the day a number of activities will be held which include
concourse, best presented car event for those who wish to enter.
On a lighter note there will be a push motorkhana, an event which
involves a team of four people, one person steers a Mini around
a preset course while the other three push, a number of teams compete
over the same course with the quickest team being the winners.
The marquee is also the home of two other competitions. The first
is the "pick a part" competition in which there are 10 fairly obscure
looking parts from various model Minis and all you have to do is
identify the part and where relevant the model it came from.
The other competition involves guessing the value of a collection
of parts. The person who guesses the closest wins the parts or goods
and services of equivalent value.
